Lead Logistics Coordinator (Remote)

Our client, a rapidly expanding e-commerce enterprise, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Lead Logistics Coordinator to manage their transportation and delivery operations. This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to our success from anywhere. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, optimizing delivery routes, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective shipment of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to drive efficiency in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including freight, shipping, and receiving.
• Develop and implement efficient transportation strategies to minimize costs and delivery times.
• Negotiate rates and terms with carriers and logistics providers.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to internal teams and customers.
• Utilize logistics software and technology to optimize route planning and load management.
• Oversee inventory management and warehousing operations.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of logistics coordinators, providing guidance and support in a remote setting.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics and transportation management.
• Proven experience with various modes of transportation (e.g., LTL, FTL, ocean, air).
• Proficiency in using logistics management software (TMS) and ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, crucial for remote work.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, capable of managing a remote team.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote environment.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations is a plus.
