Job Description
Our client is looking for a proactive and innovative Process Improvement Industrial Engineer to join their team in Orlando, Florida . This hybrid role offers a dynamic work environment where you'll have the opportunity to optimize operational efficiency and drive significant improvements across various departments. You will be instrumental in analyzing current processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing techniques, and statistical analysis.

- Analyze existing operational processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Design and conduct time studies, workflow analyses, and facility layout optimizations.
- Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to implement process changes.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions on process improvement techniques.
- Utilize simulation software and data analysis tools to model and test proposed improvements.
- Document process changes, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on process improvement.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab).
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
- Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus.
