This role is instrumental in managing and executing diverse infrastructure development projects, from initial planning and design through to construction and completion. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and maintaining high-quality engineering standards.
As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver complex infrastructure solutions. Your responsibilities will include preparing project documentation, conducting site investigations, performing engineering calculations, and overseeing construction activities. You will play a key role in problem-solving, risk management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes. Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil infrastructure projects, including transportation, water, wastewater, and site development.
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with project requirements.
- Conduct field investigations and site assessments to gather necessary project data.
- Monitor construction progress, ensuring work is performed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders.
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
- Identify and resolve project issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Manage project documentation, including reports, permits, and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Support senior engineers and project managers in various project tasks and responsibilities.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and business development efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and project management principles.
- Understanding of relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional engineering setting.
