Remote Legal Counsel - Corporate Law

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Remote Legal Counsel specializing in Corporate Law. This position, supporting operations based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, US , offers the flexibility of a fully remote work arrangement, allowing you to practice law from your preferred location. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and services to the company on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, contract negotiation, and compliance. This role requires a deep understanding of state and federal corporate laws, regulatory requirements, and best practices in business law. You will draft, review, and negotiate complex legal agreements, conduct legal research, and advise management on potential legal risks and mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely, high-quality legal solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively collaborating with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization. This remote position demands a high degree of self-discipline, organization, and proactive engagement. You will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments and ensure the company's ongoing compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include managing outside counsel when necessary, developing and implementing legal policies and procedures, and advising on intellectual property matters. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction are required. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate law, either in a law firm or in-house setting, is essential. Experience with public company reporting and securities law is a plus.
