Remote Lead UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities will include:

• Lead the entire UI/UX design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and high-fidelity visual design.
• Develop user personas, user journeys, and information architecture to inform design decisions.
• Create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Design interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and gather user feedback.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design solutions and identify areas for improvement.
• Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and design patterns to ensure consistency across products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into elegant design solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior UI/UX designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional development.
• Stay current with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices, championing innovation within the team.
• Present design concepts and rationale effectively to cross-functional teams and leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 7 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a significant portion in a lead or senior capacity, is required. A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UI/UX design skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles is mandatory. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is essential. Experience in leading design teams and managing design projects is highly desirable.
