Responsibilities:
  • Perform remote diagnostics on complex automotive systems using specialized software and tools.
  • Analyze vehicle diagnostic data, error codes, and technical service bulletins to identify root causes of issues.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to field technicians and service advisors.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to report product issues and suggest design enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Stay current with the latest automotive technologies, diagnostic procedures, and industry trends.
  • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of escalated technical issues.
  • Contribute to training materials for junior technicians.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with a strong emphasis on diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive electronic systems, engine management, and ADAS.
  • Proficiency with OEM diagnostic software and scan tools (e.g., GDS2, ODIS, Techstream).
  • Familiarity with CAN bus and other vehicle communication protocols.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Relevant ASE certifications or equivalent industry credentials are a plus.
  • Experience with remote support tools and platforms.
