Senior Production Supervisor - Remote Operations

Our client, a leading innovator in advanced manufacturing, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Production Supervisor to oversee and optimize remote operational processes. This is a critical role within our expanding network, requiring a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of production workflows and quality control. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency, implementing best practices, and ensuring seamless collaboration across geographically dispersed teams. Your primary focus will be on managing production schedules, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying areas for continuous improvement, all within a fully remote framework.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage remote production teams, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and enforce production policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Monitor production output, analyze performance data, and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain departments to resolve production issues and optimize processes.
• Oversee resource allocation, including personnel and materials, to meet production targets.
• Implement and maintain strict quality control standards throughout the production lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among remote team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience managing and leading remote teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and achieve operational excellence.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production data analysis tools.
• Must be adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
