You will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex aircraft issues, and developing comprehensive maintenance strategies from a remote location. - Assisting field maintenance teams with complex repair tasks and technical guidance via remote communication channels.
- Reviewing and approving maintenance reports and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conducting virtual quality inspections and audits of maintenance activities.
- Staying updated on all relevant aviation regulations, manufacturer service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of training programs for junior technicians.
- Collaborating with engineering and design teams on potential design improvements or modifications.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough records of all diagnostic and maintenance activities.
Essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Aviation Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, with a specialization in specific aircraft types.
- Possession of FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, hydraulics, engines).
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, etc.) and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information remotely.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic software and digital maintenance logging systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
