The Role

Working closely with the General Manager and Front of House leadership team, the Barback supports the bar program by assisting with preparation, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role is essential to ensuring bartenders can execute service efficiently while contributing to an exceptional guest experience.


What Youll Do
  • Prepare bar ingredients and batch items using standardized recipes to support all service shifts
  • Stock and maintain the bar with all necessary products according to established pars
  • Ensure all glassware, bar tools, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation while upholding sanitation standards
  • Assist bartenders with beverage production and service as needed
  • Maintain proper pour standards and support consistency across all beverages
  • Follow established steps of service to support a high-quality guest experience
  • Provide food and beverage support in accordance with restaurant standards
  • Verify identification for alcohol service when required and in accordance with company standards
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency to support smooth and efficient service
  • Maintain awareness of menu offerings, including beverage and allergy information
  • Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties thoroughly and efficiently

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
  • Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
  • Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
