Methodist Health System is looking for a dedicated and skilled CT (Computed Tomography) Technician to join our team in delivering high-quality care and imaging services across our facilities in Texas. The successful candidate will operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images according to physician specifications and ensure patient safety while maintaining a high level of compassion and efficiency. Operate CT imaging systems to produce images of patients' bones, organs, tissues, or blood flow.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and positioning patients appropriately.
Adjust scanning equipment and select proper imaging techniques to optimize image quality.
Collaborate with radiologists to determine appropriate imaging techniques and aid in interpretation of images.
Maintain accurate patient records and adherence to confidentiality guidelines.
Supervise the CT imaging suite, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and adhering to all safety standards.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior technicians and support staff.
Proficiency in operating complex medical imaging equipment
Strong understanding of radiology and imaging safety protocols
Excellent patient management skills to ensure comfort and safety
Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
Capable of maintaining detailed patient records
