Job Description
SimVentions, Inc. (Glassdoor 4.6) seeks a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and modernize mission-critical systems for Defense & Aerospace customers within our IT organization. You will lead full-stack or back-end development, architecture, and code quality on Agile teams supporting U.S. Department of Defense programs. Partner closely with systems engineers, cybersecurity experts, and testers to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions for defense and aerospace systems
Lead technical design reviews and mentor mid-level and junior developers
Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity, and test teams to deliver integrated solutions
Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with DoD and federal standards
Contribute to architecture decisions, performance optimization, and code quality improvements
Support Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and technical documentation
