Job Description
Orica is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you will safely transport explosives and related materials to mining, quarrying, construction, and industrial sites, ensuring strict compliance with DOT and hazardous materials regulations. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, accurate logkeeping, and professional on-site interaction with customers. Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles transporting explosives and related materials to mine, quarry, and construction sites
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation
Handle, load, and unload hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and company safety standards
Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining accurate electronic logs and delivery records
Communicate with dispatch, site personnel, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
Adhere to Orica’s safety, environmental, and quality procedures at all times
Report equipment defects, safety concerns, and incidents promptly
Provide professional customer service on-site, representing Orica’s values and safety culture
