Job Description
Orica is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team supporting mining and quarrying operations. In this field-based role, you will safely transport explosives and related materials to mine and quarry sites, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure full compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. You’ll collaborate closely with dispatch and blasting crews, contribute to our strong safety culture, and gain opportunities for skill development and long-term career growth in a global, innovative organization.
Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles to transport explosives and related materials to mine and quarry sites.
Follow all DOT, OSHA, and Orica safety and regulatory requirements.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
Assist with secure loading/unloading of explosive products and equipment.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and required documentation.
Coordinate with dispatch, blasting crews, and site personnel for timely deliveries.
Adhere to site-specific traffic plans and environmental guidelines.
Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives within Transportation & Logistics.
CDL Class B operation
