Our client, a rapidly expanding global logistics and warehousing company, is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Supply Chain & Logistics Analyst to join their fully remote team. This role is crucial for optimizing our extensive supply chain operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and enhancing overall efficiency. You will be responsible for analyzing vast datasets, developing performance metrics, and providing actionable insights to improve inventory management, transportation, and warehousing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a data-intensive environment, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and is adept at leveraging technology to drive supply chain excellence from anywhere. This is a remote-first position designed for individuals who excel with autonomy and collaboration in a virtual setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in inventory, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track supply chain performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Conduct network modeling and optimization studies to enhance logistics efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with relevant departments to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to transportation routes, modes, and carriers to improve cost-effectiveness and delivery times.
  • Support the development and implementation of new logistics technologies and systems.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain and logistics management.
  • Assist in the development of supply chain strategies and long-term planning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and/or Python.
  • Experience with supply chain management software (SCM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
