This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, with primary focus on supporting clients in the Madison, Wisconsin, US region when required for hands-on work (travel expenses covered). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electromechanical systems, troubleshooting complex machinery, and providing exceptional customer support. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of specialized industrial equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues on complex industrial machinery via remote diagnostic tools and on-site visits.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Conduct in-depth system analysis and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Provide comprehensive technical support and training to clients, both remotely and on-site.
- Document all service activities, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and parts used, in the company's CRM system.
- Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest design improvements.
- Manage service schedules and inventory of spare parts efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during on-site interventions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation, including user manuals and service bulletins.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex electromechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and industrial automation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for on-site support as needed.
- Familiarity with remote diagnostic software and tools.
