Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Supply Chain Operations Analyst to join their fully remote team. This position plays a crucial role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's global supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain principles, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions and process improvements. As a remote-first employee, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones, contributing to a seamless and robust supply chain network.

- Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting dashboards to monitor supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., procurement, logistics, manufacturing, sales) and external partners to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Design, test, and implement process improvements and new supply chain initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support the implementation and utilization of supply chain technologies and software (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Forecast demand and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.
- Evaluate supplier performance and collaborate on strategies for improvement.
- Contribute to strategic supply chain planning and network design projects.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain analysis, operations, or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, making, and delivering.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong quantitative aptitude.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate remotely across teams and functions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
