Remote Senior Human Resources Generalist

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and versatile Remote Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their organization. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to manage HR operations and support employees from anywhere, while driving key HR initiatives. You will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR best practices, strong communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with employees and management across different departments and locations. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring a positive and productive work environment while upholding company policies and legal requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related issues, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and workplace issues, recommending and implementing resolutions.
  • Manage the performance appraisal process, coaching managers and employees on goal setting and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute talent management strategies.
  • Facilitate employee training and development programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive company culture.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to resolve disputes and improve communication.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and performance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
