Remote Logistics and Fleet Operations Coordinator

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Logistics and Fleet Operations Coordinator to manage and optimize their transportation and delivery operations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to critical supply chain functions from anywhere. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily fleet activities, ensuring efficient routing, managing driver schedules, and maintaining compliance with transportation regulations.

Key responsibilities include utilizing logistics software to track shipments, monitor vehicle performance, and troubleshoot any operational disruptions in real-time. You will liaise with drivers, dispatchers, and clients to ensure timely and secure delivery of goods. This role requires a keen understanding of transportation management systems (TMS), fleet maintenance schedules, and dispatch protocols. Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to operational issues, such as delays, breakdowns, or emergencies, and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS).
• Liaise with clients to provide updates on shipment status and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver logs, and vehicle maintenance.
• Collaborate with dispatch and maintenance teams to ensure vehicle availability and serviceability.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management.
• Proven experience in a remote operational role.
• Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and fleet management software.
