Warehouse Operations Manager (Remote)

Our client is looking for an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Operations Manager to lead their logistics and warehousing operations. This position is fully remote, meaning you will manage operations, teams, and strategies from a remote location, leveraging technology to ensure seamless execution. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, staff management, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse operations, with a proven ability to optimize processes and reduce costs. You will develop and implement best practices for warehouse management, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to safety regulations. You will utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies to track inventory, manage orders, and monitor performance metrics. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to optimize space utilization and productivity.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other technologies to manage operations and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and manage operational budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure operational readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in warehouse management and operations.
• Proven experience in managing remote teams and operations.
• Strong understanding of WMS, ERP systems, and other logistics software.
• Excellent knowledge of inventory control, supply chain principles, and logistics best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
