This role is essential for supporting the seamless execution of catering events by managing logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring client satisfaction from a remote location. Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of catering events, including menu planning support, staffing allocation, and equipment coordination.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding event details, confirmations, and special requests, communicating effectively via phone and email.
  • Liaise with chefs, kitchen staff, and event managers to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing, ordering, and timely delivery of supplies and rentals.
  • Prepare and distribute event summaries, timelines, and client confirmation documents.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining event budgets, tracking expenses, and processing invoices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues that may arise before or during events.
  • Maintain accurate records of client information, event details, and feedback in the CRM system.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, dietary requirements, and best practices in catering services.
  • Support the sales team by providing operational feasibility assessments for prospective events.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or relevant certification in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering operations, event planning coordination, or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of food service operations, menu planning, and event logistics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with event management or CRM software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
