Remote Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, Cleaning & Sanitation

Our client, a global leader in specialized cleaning and sanitation solutions, is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join their fully remote team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance within our diverse product lines. In this critical position, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality assurance programs and procedures for cleaning and sanitation products.
• Conducting rigorous testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure they meet stringent quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Investigating product deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformances, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Collaborating closely with R&D, Production, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure product integrity throughout the development lifecycle.
• Preparing and reviewing detailed quality reports, batch records, and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Staying abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes (e.g., EPA, FDA, OSHA), and emerging technologies in quality assurance.
• Leading and participating in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with established quality management systems (QMS).
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of quality processes and systems across the organization.
• Providing training and guidance to junior QA personnel as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on cleaning and sanitation products or related chemical industries.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, GMP) and relevant regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in analytical testing methodologies and laboratory equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly documenting findings and recommendations.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Experience with statistical analysis and quality control software is highly desirable.
