Remote Delivery Driver Coordinator

Our client, a nationwide e-commerce platform, is actively recruiting for a highly organized and communicative Remote Delivery Driver Coordinator. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of a fleet of independent delivery drivers, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods to customers. Your primary duties will include driver onboarding and training, scheduling and dispatching, real-time route monitoring, and proactive problem-solving to address any delivery disruptions. You will act as the main point of contact for drivers, providing support, clear communication, and performance feedback. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a keen eye for detail. You will leverage technology and communication tools to optimize delivery routes, manage driver availability, and ensure customer satisfaction. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with drivers is key to success in this role. Key responsibilities include managing driver performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce delivery times. You will also assist in resolving customer inquiries related to deliveries and work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless logistical operation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong aptitude for problem-solving. A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination, dispatching, or fleet management, ideally within a remote setting. Familiarity with delivery management software and GPS tracking systems is a significant advantage.
