Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management with suppliers.
- Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs and stock-outs.
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Lead initiatives to improve supply chain visibility, agility, and resilience.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement; implement corrective actions.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value realization.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of supply chain technologies and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts across the supply chain through the application of Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, or operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in global sourcing, international logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains and achieving significant cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain planning software (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS) and advanced data analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
- Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- APICS (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) or similar certifications are highly desirable.
