Remote Logistics Operations Coordinator

Our client, a rapidly growing logistics and supply chain company, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage and optimize daily operations. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and information. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, tracking inventory, and resolving operational issues to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating all aspects of shipment scheduling, tracking, and delivery across various modes of transport.
• Managing relationships with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stock movements to optimize warehouse utilization and minimize delays.
• Proactively identifying and resolving logistical challenges and operational bottlenecks.
• Communicating effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to provide status updates and address inquiries.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the company's logistics management system.
• Generating reports on operational performance, key metrics, and cost analysis.
• Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics coordination, supply chain operations, or a related field is required. Familiarity with logistics software and transportation management systems (TMS) is highly desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate virtually with a distributed team is critical for success in this remote role.
