Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Field Installation Technician to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote, independent role that requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated equipment and systems across various client sites, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Your primary focus will be ensuring optimal performance and longevity of installed systems, adhering strictly to technical specifications and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-to-end installation of complex hardware and software systems according to design blueprints and project specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostic checks, and necessary repairs to ensure systems are operating at peak efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues remotely, providing clear and concise guidance to on-site personnel or executing remote solutions.
  • Document all installation, maintenance, and repair activities meticulously, including parts used, time spent, and any encountered challenges.
  • Collaborate with engineering and support teams to provide feedback on product performance and suggest improvements.
  • Adhere to all company and industry safety standards and best practices during all on-site activities.
  • Manage inventory of necessary tools and parts for installations and repairs, ensuring availability and proper storage.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and product updates relevant to the installation and maintenance field.
  • Provide training and support to junior technicians or client personnel as needed.
  • Develop and refine installation procedures and best practices for efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Installation Technician, Field Service Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in network installation and configuration is highly desirable.
