Our client, a prominent and innovative online retailer, is seeking a highly skilled Senior E-commerce Specialist to join their fully remote team. This role is critical for optimizing online sales performance, enhancing customer experience, and driving the growth of our digital storefronts. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and data analytics to identify opportunities for conversion rate optimization and revenue increase. As a remote-first position, you will work collaboratively with digital marketing, merchandising, and IT teams using advanced collaboration tools.

- Develop and implement strategies to increase website traffic, conversion rates, and average order value.
- Analyze website performance metrics, customer behavior, and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee product catalog management, including content creation, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to execute online advertising campaigns, SEO, SEM, and email marketing initiatives.
- Ensure the website is optimized for mobile devices and various browsers.
- Manage website content updates, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Conduct A/B testing and usability studies to enhance website functionality and user engagement.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Liaise with IT and development teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement new features.
- Manage third-party e-commerce integrations and partnerships.
- Develop reports on e-commerce performance for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging e-commerce trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or a related role within the retail sector.
- Proven experience with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce).
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media marketing principles.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team environment.
