Remote Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Our client, a rapidly growing SaaS company, is looking for a dedicated Remote Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance their product quality and user experience. This fully remote role is critical for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our client's software applications. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues efficiently. As a Senior QA Specialist, you will play a key role in defining and implementing QA best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases; performing various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing; meticulously documenting bugs and issues with clear, detailed steps to reproduce; working closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage; contributing to the automation of testing processes using relevant frameworks and tools; participating in agile development ceremonies and providing QA insights; advocating for quality throughout the software development lifecycle; analyzing test results and providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders; and staying current with emerging QA technologies and methodologies. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of QA principles and methodologies, a keen eye for detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a significant portion in a senior or lead capacity, is essential. Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and bug tracking systems is mandatory. Familiarity with API testing and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman) is highly desirable.
