Remote Consumer Goods Product Development Engineer

You will play a crucial role in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to testing and manufacturing liaison. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new consumer products from concept to commercialization.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation.
• Generate product concepts, sketches, and detailed 3D CAD models using relevant software.
• Develop and manage product specifications, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and performance targets.

• Collaborate with external vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure manufacturability and quality control.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design files, BOMs, and test reports.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product development processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Material Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in product development, specifically within the consumer goods sector.
• Proven experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
• Strong understanding of materials commonly used in consumer products and their properties.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
