Our client, a leading innovator in the e-commerce and digital engagement space, is seeking an exceptional Senior Social Media Marketing Strategist to join their fully remote team. This role is ideal for a creative and data-driven individual passionate about building and scaling online communities and driving brand growth through compelling social media campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and executing sophisticated strategies across all major social platforms, with a focus on maximizing engagement, reach, and conversion.

As this is a remote-first position, you will have the autonomy to manage your work effectively from anywhere, while collaborating closely with a distributed team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing strategies aligned with overall business and marketing objectives.
  • Manage and grow the company's presence across key social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest).
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging, high-quality content (text, image, video) that resonates with target audiences.
  • Monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze social media campaign performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports on key metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, ROI).
  • Optimize campaigns based on data insights to improve performance and achieve KPIs.
  • Develop and manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budget allocation, and ad creative.
  • Engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, creative, product) to ensure brand consistency and campaign integration.
  • Identify and build relationships with influencers and brand advocates.
  • Manage social media listening tools to monitor brand sentiment and industry conversations.
  • Stay up-to-date with algorithm changes and platform updates.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in social media marketing and digital strategy, preferably within e-commerce.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of major social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, native platform insights).
  • Experience with paid social advertising (Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, etc.).
  • Strong content creation skills (writing, basic graphic design, video editing).
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and community management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a remote work environment.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for innovation in digital marketing.
