Our client, a globally recognized leader in interactive entertainment, is seeking a highly talented and experienced Senior Sound Designer to join their acclaimed game development studio. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in the world, with a primary focus on creating immersive audio experiences for our upcoming AAA video game titles. The ideal candidate possesses a deep passion for games, a masterful understanding of sound design principles, and a proven ability to craft exceptional audio for critically acclaimed projects.

- Design, implement, and mix high-quality sound effects, ambiances, and Foley for video games across various genres.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, engineers, and other audio team members to integrate audio seamlessly into the game engine.
- Create unique and memorable soundscapes that enhance player immersion and emotional impact.
- Record, edit, and process audio assets using industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Reaper, Cubase) and middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD).
- Develop and maintain audio style guides and technical specifications.
- Provide creative direction and technical guidance to junior sound designers and external vendors.
- Troubleshoot and optimize audio performance within game builds.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in game audio technology, tools, and techniques.
- Contribute to the overall audio vision and direction of projects.
- Deliver high-fidelity audio assets under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in sound design for video games, with at least two shipped AAA titles.
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional sound design skills, demonstrating a wide range of audio styles.
- Expert proficiency in at least one major DAW and game audio middleware (Wwise/FMOD).
- Excellent understanding of audio principles, acoustics, and mixing techniques.
- Experience with audio programming and scripting is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas effectively.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- A passion for video games and a deep understanding of what makes for compelling game audio.
