Our client is seeking a dedicated and analytical Remote Industrial Systems Analyst to join their globally distributed team, working remotely from Richmond, Virginia, US . This role is integral to enhancing operational efficiency and productivity through the strategic analysis and optimization of industrial systems and workflows. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that improve production processes, supply chain management, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of industrial engineering principles, statistical analysis, and process modeling. Your primary duties will involve gathering and analyzing data from various industrial operations, identifying areas for improvement, and developing scalable solutions. You will create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across different departments.

Key responsibilities include developing and utilizing simulation models to test process changes before implementation, optimizing resource allocation, and designing performance metrics to track the effectiveness of implemented solutions. You will also collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate new technologies and software into existing industrial systems, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep commitment to continuous improvement. You will work independently, managing your time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining open communication channels with your remote colleagues and supervisors. A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field is required. Proven experience in data analysis, process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma), and proficiency with relevant software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic, SQL, advanced Excel) are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective remote collaboration.
