Job Description
Orica is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this field-based role, you will safely transport explosives and related products to mining, quarrying, and construction sites, complete DOT documentation, and perform pre/post-trip inspections. You will strictly follow hazardous materials and safety procedures while collaborating with dispatch and site teams. Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles to deliver explosives and related products to customer sites
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required DOT documentation
Handle, load, and unload hazardous materials in accordance with Orica, DOT, and OSHA safety standards
Follow assigned routes, schedules, and on-site procedures at mines, quarries, and construction sites
Communicate effectively with dispatch, site personnel, and team members to coordinate deliveries
Maintain clean, compliant vehicles and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
Adhere to all company safety policies, wearing required PPE and participating in safety briefings
CDL Class B driving

Basic mechanical troubleshooting
