Job Description
Orica is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this field-based role, you will safely transport explosives and related materials to mining, quarrying, construction, and energy sites, performing thorough vehicle inspections, load securement, and accurate documentation. You will collaborate with dispatch and site teams, proactively solving problems while strictly adhering to DOT and Orica safety standards. Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles transporting explosives and related materials to mine, quarry, construction, and energy sites.
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete all required documentation.
Ensure secure loading, unloading, and proper handling of specialized products in compliance with DOT and Orica safety standards.
Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining accurate logs and delivery records.
Communicate proactively with dispatch, site personnel, and team members to resolve issues and support efficient operations.
Uphold Orica’s strong safety culture, environmental standards, and customer service expectations.
