Job Description
Orica is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. In this role, you will safely transport explosives and related materials to mining, quarrying, construction, and industrial sites while strictly following DOT and Orica safety standards. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, loading/unloading hazardous materials, maintaining accurate delivery and compliance documentation, and communicating closely with dispatch and site teams. Operate CDL Class B vehicle to safely transport explosives and related materials to customer and Orica sites
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation
Handle, load, and unload hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and Orica safety standards
Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic records
Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to changing site and weather conditions
Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and customers to ensure timely deliveries
Adhere to all company, federal, and state safety and environmental regulations
Report vehicle or equipment issues promptly and support basic preventive maintenance
Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
CDL Class B driving
