Job Description
Orica is seeking a reliable CDL Class B Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this field-based role, you will safely transport commercial explosives and related products to mines, quarries, and construction sites while strictly adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Orica safety standards. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, accurate documentation, secure loading/unloading, and close coordination with dispatch and site teams. Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles to transport explosive products to customer and job sites
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings
Ensure full compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Orica safety policies and procedures
Secure, load, and unload products following hazardous materials regulations
Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic records
Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and customers
Assist blast crews and logistics teams as needed at mine, quarry, and construction locations
Report equipment issues, incidents, or near misses promptly
Uphold Orica’s safety culture and environmental and sustainability standards
CDL Class B driving
