We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Remote Skincare Product Developer to join our fully remote team. This position is ideal for a passionate individual with a deep understanding of cosmetic chemistry, formulation, and the evolving trends in the skincare market. Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop innovative skincare formulations from concept to finished product, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetic and performance goals.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, ingredients, and technologies in the skincare industry.
• Formulate a wide range of skincare products, including serums, moisturizers, cleansers, masks, and treatments, considering efficacy, stability, and safety.
• Source and evaluate raw materials from reputable suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with the R&D, marketing, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
• Oversee and manage stability testing, efficacy testing, and consumer use testing for new formulations.
• Troubleshoot formulation issues and optimize existing products for improved performance and manufacturability.
• Ensure all product formulations comply with global regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including formulation records, specification sheets, and manufacturing instructions.
• Stay current with scientific advancements and competitive landscape in skincare.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
• Clearly articulate formulation strategies and technical findings to cross-functional teams and senior management, utilizing virtual collaboration tools effectively.
• Contribute to the intellectual property portfolio through innovation and patent applications where applicable.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States, with a primary focus on collaboration with teams coordinating around Houston, Texas, US and other key hubs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in skincare formulation and product development.
• Proven track record of successfully launching innovative skincare products.
• In-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EU regulations).
• Strong understanding of skin physiology and common dermatological concerns.
• Exceptional creative and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
