Remote Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join their remote team. This role is critical for optimizing the company's global supply chain operations, driving efficiency, and reducing costs. You will leverage advanced data analysis techniques, forecasting models, and supply chain planning tools to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions. - Develop and maintain advanced forecasting models for demand, inventory, and capacity planning.
- Optimize inventory levels across the network to balance service levels with carrying costs.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to logistics, warehousing, and transportation strategies.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance.
- Utilize supply chain planning software and analytical tools to model scenarios and support decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain function.
- Support the development and implementation of new supply chain technologies and systems.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on supply chain performance and strategic recommendations.
- Conduct supplier performance analysis and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
- Manage projects related to supply chain optimization and efficiency gains.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management and analytics.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to drive alignment and problem-solving.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in supply chain analysis, planning, or operations.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- Proficiency with advanced Excel functions, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle SCM, Kinaxis) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, transportation, and warehousing principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- APICS or CSCMP certification is a plus.
