This senior role involves leading the strategic integration of technology into pedagogical practices, supporting faculty and students in leveraging digital tools to enhance educational outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of current educational technology trends, learning theories, and best practices in online, hybrid, and face-to-face instruction. You will be responsible for evaluating, recommending, and implementing new educational technologies, developing training programs, and providing advanced technical support. Collaboration with faculty, IT departments, and curriculum developers will be central to this role, ensuring seamless integration and effective utilization of technology. A Master's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field, along with a minimum of 9 years of experience in educational technology support, development, or leadership, is required. Strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for advancing education through technology are essential. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategic planning and implementation of educational technology initiatives.
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate new educational technologies and platforms.

  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for educational software and hardware.
  • Collaborate with faculty to design engaging and effective technology-enhanced learning experiences.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in educational technology.
  • Manage projects related to technology implementation and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and resources for educational technology users.
  • Assess the effectiveness of technology interventions and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to institutional goals for digital learning and innovation.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of progressive experience in educational technology.
  • Expertise in learning management systems (LMS) and various educational software.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Superb communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to train and support diverse user groups.
  • Experience with multimedia development tools is a plus.
