Responsibilities:
- Ideate and develop new skincare product concepts based on market research, consumer insights, and emerging trends.
- Formulate innovative and effective skincare products, ensuring stability, safety, and efficacy.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure product success from concept to launch.
- Source and evaluate new raw materials and ingredient technologies.
- Oversee pilot batching and scale-up processes with manufacturing partners.
- Conduct performance testing and sensory evaluations of new formulations.
- Prepare comprehensive product development documentation, including specifications and testing protocols.
- Ensure all product development activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Stay abreast of competitive landscape, emerging ingredients, and formulation techniques.
- Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in skincare product development, with a strong portfolio of launched products.
- In-depth knowledge of skincare ingredients, formulation techniques, and stability testing.
- Familiarity with US cosmetic regulations (FDA) and international requirements.
- Proven ability to translate consumer needs and market trends into successful products.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and formulation software is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote setting.
