Our client is seeking a highly creative and analytical Remote Social Media Marketing Strategist to join their dynamic e-commerce team. This position is fully remote, based anywhere in the US, and focuses on developing and executing innovative social media strategies to drive engagement, traffic, and conversions for their online retail platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to craft compelling content, manage social media campaigns across multiple platforms, and leverage data analytics to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies aligned with e-commerce goals and brand identity.
  • Creating, curating, and scheduling engaging content (text, image, video) for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and Twitter.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of all social media channels, including community management and customer interaction.
  • Monitoring social media trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Running paid social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, targeting, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Analyzing social media data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborating with the marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and campaign integration.
  • Developing strategies to grow social media following, engagement rates, and website traffic.
  • Staying up-to-date with social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Reporting on social media performance to stakeholders with clear recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in social media marketing, with a focus on e-commerce.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Expertise across major social media platforms and their advertising capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform insights).
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to strategy.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
