Join Our client as a Remote Senior Manufacturing Engineer and play a pivotal role in optimizing our production processes from the comfort of your home office. This fully remote position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and lean methodologies. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across our global manufacturing footprint, collaborating closely with on-site teams and stakeholders through virtual channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing processes and systems to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of production data to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues and developing robust corrective actions.
  • Utilize Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials for manufacturing personnel.
  • Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve operational capabilities.
  • Prepare technical reports, project proposals, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Facilitate virtual process reviews and improvement workshops.
  • Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a significant focus on process optimization and automation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying root causes and developing effective solutions.
  • Excellent virtual communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage remote teams.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and simulation tools is highly desirable.
  • Experience with ERP and MES systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to manufacturing sites as needed (typically 10-15%).
