- Design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing processes and systems to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Conduct detailed analysis of production data to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
- Lead cross-functional teams in troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues and developing robust corrective actions.
- Utilize Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials for manufacturing personnel.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product launches and lifecycle management.
- Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve operational capabilities.
- Prepare technical reports, project proposals, and performance metrics for management review.
- Facilitate virtual process reviews and improvement workshops.
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a significant focus on process optimization and automation.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying root causes and developing effective solutions.
- Excellent virtual communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage remote teams.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and simulation tools is highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP and MES systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to manufacturing sites as needed (typically 10-15%).
