Warehouse Operations Coordinator - Remote Support

Our client, a rapidly growing logistics and supply chain company, is seeking a diligent and proactive Warehouse Operations Coordinator to provide remote support for their distribution centers. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, managing inventory accuracy, and optimizing warehouse processes from a virtual standpoint. You will collaborate closely with on-site warehouse teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, track shipments, and improve operational performance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and is adept at using technology to manage complex logistics operations remotely. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide remote support for day-to-day warehouse operations, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Track shipments and proactively address any delays or issues in transit.
• Communicate effectively with on-site warehouse staff, management, and external partners.
• Analyze warehouse performance data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Assist in the implementation of new warehouse technologies and best practices.
• Generate and interpret reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, on-time delivery, and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with carriers and transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Respond to inquiries from customer service and sales teams regarding order status and inventory availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures within the warehouses.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational bottlenecks and challenges.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with logistics software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams remotely.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience with performance metrics and reporting.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
