Senior Automation Technician - Industrial Systems

Our client, a leading provider of automated industrial solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Technician to join their dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas . This role is crucial for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex automated systems and robotic equipment across various manufacturing and industrial environments. The Senior Automation Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostic testing, and calibration of automated machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. You will lead the troubleshooting of intricate electrical, mechanical, and software issues within PLC-controlled systems, robotic cells, and other industrial automation equipment. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with a variety of automation hardware and software, including PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, industrial networks, and robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB). You will interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to effectively diagnose and resolve problems. This position involves on-site support for clients, requiring excellent customer service and communication skills. The Senior Automation Technician will also play a key role in training junior technicians and providing technical guidance to operations teams. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and spare parts management. Experience with system integration, programming modifications, and upgrades of existing automation systems is highly valued.
