The Senior Field Technician will also play a key role in system diagnostics, performing preventative maintenance, and providing technical support and training to clients. You will work independently or as part of a project team, often under tight deadlines, to resolve issues and ensure minimal downtime for clients' operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial maintenance, a proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, and a solid grasp of safety protocols within industrial environments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, commission, and service industrial automation equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on complex machinery.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system checks.
  • Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and robotic control systems.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Provide on-site technical support and training to clients.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Document all service activities and reports.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar role in industrial automation.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and control logic.
  • Proficiency with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
  • Experience with HMIs and robotic systems.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field preferred.
