Lead Manufacturing Operations Engineer (Remote)

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Lead Manufacturing Operations Engineer to spearhead our production initiatives in a fully remote role. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing floor, focusing on efficiency, quality, and safety. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. You will lead projects related to process automation, equipment selection and integration, and the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of production planning, supply chain integration, and quality control systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations and product delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of modern manufacturing techniques. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES) is essential. Strong communication and project management skills are vital for effective remote collaboration and project execution.
