Our client, a rapidly expanding Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, is seeking a talented Supply Chain Optimization Analyst to join their fully remote team. This position is crucial for enhancing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience of our global supply chain operations. You will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, and developing data-driven strategies to improve inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting. Your role will involve leveraging advanced analytical tools and methodologies to model various supply chain scenarios, evaluate performance metrics (e.g., lead times, inventory turnover, transportation costs), and recommend actionable solutions. This includes working with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, sales, and logistics, to implement process improvements and ensure seamless product flow from raw materials to end consumers. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting root cause analyses for supply chain disruptions, and collaborating on the design and implementation of new supply chain technologies. You will also contribute to network design optimization, sourcing strategies, and risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations is required, with a proven track record of using data to drive significant improvements. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder) is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are paramount for this remote role, which requires effective collaboration across dispersed teams.
