Senior Software Developer

SimVentions, Inc. (Glassdoor 4.6) seeks a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and sustain mission-critical systems for Defense & Aerospace clients in our IT department. You will lead development of secure, high-performance applications, guide architecture decisions, and mentor teammates while collaborating with systems, cybersecurity, and program management experts. Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical software for defense and aerospace systems
Lead technical implementation, code reviews, and mentoring of junior developers
Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity, and project managers to deliver secure, reliable solutions
Implement secure coding practices to support DoD and federal cybersecurity requirements
Contribute to architecture decisions, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes
Java or C# development
Object-oriented design
Microservices or service-oriented architecture
Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Relational databases and SQL
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
Secure coding practices
Agile/Scrum methodologies
Version control with Git
Unit and integration testing
