Senior HVAC Installation Technician (Remote)

Our client is searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Installation Technician to join their innovative, fully remote technical support team. While the role is remote, it focuses on providing expert guidance and oversight for HVAC system installations and complex troubleshooting scenarios encountered by field technicians. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and technical specifications, providing remote diagnostics, and guiding on-site personnel through intricate installation procedures and repair processes. The ideal candidate possesses comprehensive knowledge of various HVAC systems, including residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and control systems associated with HVAC is crucial. You will serve as a subject matter expert, resolving challenging technical issues via phone, video calls, and digital documentation. Responsibilities include developing standardized installation protocols, creating detailed troubleshooting guides, and conducting virtual training sessions for installation teams. Exceptional problem-solving skills, clear communication abilities, and a patient, methodical approach are essential. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software, as well as the ability to clearly convey complex technical information is required. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and repair is mandatory. Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA Section 608 Universal) are required.
