Job Description

Our client is seeking skilled and certified Remote HVAC Installation Technicians to join their team, servicing clients across various regions from their base in **Phoenix, Arizona, US**. In this crucial, fully remote position, you will be responsible for the expert installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. While the work is field-based, your coordination, reporting, and technical support will be managed remotely. You will diagnose and resolve complex installation challenges, ensure systems are functioning optimally, and provide excellent service to clients. This role requires a high degree of technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while staying connected with the support team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and repair HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and building codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective repair solutions.
  • Conduct pressure and flow tests of HVAC systems and calibrate systems to manufacturer's performance specifications.
  • Ensure all installations are completed safely and efficiently, meeting quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both at client sites and within your service vehicle.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, providing explanations of work performed and recommendations for system maintenance.
  • Document all work performed, including materials used and time spent, using mobile field service applications.
  • Collaborate with the remote support team for technical assistance and project coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or trade school program in HVAC is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair.
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • NATE certification is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
  • Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based, remotely coordinated role.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
