Our client is revolutionizing the facility management industry and is looking for a highly experienced and self-motivated Senior HVAC Technician to join their fully remote team. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in an independent work environment and possesses exceptional diagnostic and repair skills for a wide range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will be responsible for providing expert remote support, guiding on-site technicians, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems across various commercial properties managed by our client. The role demands a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills to effectively interact with field personnel and remote management.

- Providing advanced remote diagnostic and troubleshooting support for complex HVAC system issues reported by on-site teams.
- Guiding and mentoring on-site technicians through detailed repair and maintenance procedures via phone, video conferencing, and digital platforms.
- Interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and building management system (BMS) data to identify root causes of HVAC malfunctions.
- Developing clear, step-by-step instructions and best practice guidelines for complex repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Reviewing maintenance logs and performance data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
- Assisting in the evaluation and selection of new HVAC equipment and technologies.
- Contributing to the development and refinement of remote support protocols and knowledge base articles.
- Conducting virtual inspections and assessments of HVAC installations and repairs.
- Collaborating with project managers and client representatives to address critical HVAC concerns.
- Maintaining detailed records of all remote support interactions, diagnoses, and resolutions.
- Ensuring all guidance aligns with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician, with a strong emphasis on commercial systems.
- EPA Universal Certification is required.
- NATE certification is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, split systems, and VRF systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex HVAC schematics, blueprints, and control diagrams.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and IoT-enabled HVAC controls.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools, including video conferencing and remote access software.
- A stable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace are essential.
